I'm Kayden Coleman -- a Black, queer writer, activist and storyteller who lives in Houston, TX. I am a parent of two beautiful daughters who motivate me to always keep going and to continue to always try to be the best version of myself.
I am best known for my work as an educator and storyteller who had the honor of teaching hundreds, if not thousands of birth workers, OBGYN's, medical student and social workers about navigating pregnancy as a transgender man, and how they can provide safe, equitable, trauma-informed care to individuals who are navigating pregnancy but do not identify as women.
Although I am best known for being the first Black openly pregnant transgender man, and that is something I am extremely proud of -- I am so much more than that.
Over the past 12 years, I have built a social media following of over 400k followers, organically. I started with Youtube, documenting my transition and pregnancy and have since evolved and moved into lifestyle, parenting, food reviews, and social commentary content.
In addition to content creating, I am also a public speaker and a published writer. My writing has been published by Millie Clinic and Today.com. You can also find some more recent work of mine here.
